We are looking to get the tiling of the base of our fireplace done and installing the new cast iron insert and wooden mantle. The area to tile is approximately 55x115cm and will require a new base as the existing concrete is cracked and not level.  We will be using a subway style tile (we will be sourcing) in this area and would ideally like them to be flush with the surrounding floorboards. Need someone to cap gas line (located outside of a ground floor apartment), and remove electric gas heater. You can also keep the working heater. Very flexible on when it can be done. - Due date: Flexible

Insert liner has moved out place. Need someone to remove the screen and glass, and reposition the insert liner back in place. Needs to be secured with adhesive. Job to be done on Friday.

New model Samsung Frame needs mounting. The fireplace has its own conduit which can have most or all of the cables removed from it I expect (just moved into apartment) and the single Samsung cable run through it. Might be nice to patch and tidy up the wall before mounting but it isn’t essential. Just want a solid done. Additionally I have ceiling speakers I haven’t been able to test yet so if anyone has an amp they can bring and help me figure out what they all are and label them/or if they’re all crap then at least find out. TV is a 65 inch OLED LG. Pride fir job is for Kanpur and we will reimburse for the price if the mounting structure.

I have a mirror weighing about 18kgs that I want hung above the fireplace. It’s a brick wall with solid plaster. Looking for an experienced hanger/installer. The frame is solid wood with gold embossed and beveled mirror. Measurements: [Content Moderated] . Work can be done any day next week.

Hang mirror on brick fire place as we have tried and failed

Cavity of fire place requires a floor and roof to be filled in with cement/ concrete. The floor size is 500 x 500. I have some bricks that can be used to fill in the floor, but you will need to supply cement to pour over existing area to create a flat floor surface. One of the pics shows the roof of cavity.

The base of an ornamental fireplace needs to be retiled. Approx one metre in length by 30 cm. Tiles will be provided.

Hi, We’ve just moved into an art deco flat and would like to strip back the white paint which has been painted over the brick fireplace. We have seen other units have exposed red bricks, so we know the bricks behind the paint should be nice.
