Hi there. We are looking to get some quotes from licensed gas plumbers on how much it would cost to get gas run to an area of our house for a gas fireplace we are hoping to install some time early next year. To help with the quote I have included images of the house floor plan, outdoor unused BBQ utilities taps (which we think includes gas), roof type incase that matters and more. A kitchen, bathroom, large wardrobe, fireplace surround need to be removed for removal to Moe in West Gippsland. Transportation of the items will be by myself in a 4.2 m long pane truck. It may require two trips but the objective is to get the heavy and awkward items in the first load with the help of a small crew. The kitchen is modular but has two stone Benchtops, one of which is very large and will require three or four people to remove from the house. Cupboard doors and drawers are to be removed first. The kitchen sink is to be removed prior to moving the benchtop. The bathroom is small. Items to removed the shower screens, toilet, overhead fan lights and the vanity unit and sink. The fireplace includes the cast iron fire insert plus the wooden fireplace surround. The wardrobes in the master bedroom are large and will need to be broken down into its modules for removal. Doors are to be removed and handled separately. I will be there to assist in the process as I have handyman skills.

Existing gas fireplace to be covered with mdf which has been taken off for painting. Simply need to screw in the mdf which has been taken out. Need to bring your own droll. Quick job

I have a wood fireplace that needs to be installed. My Carpenter is building the chimney frame for the fireplace tomorrow so it will be ready for installation from about Friday onwards. The fireplace is a jetmaster 700 D with a zero clearance box. The installer will need to lay a Hebel base for the Fireplace to sit on and then flew up to the tiled roof. There is a hip in the roof that will need to be negotiated so I do have a corner piece of flue for this. - Due date: Flexible
