Repair/replace the vertical supports making up the wall plate of a gate due to deterioration from moisture. The timber comprising the wall plate is attached to a brick wall. The measurement for the 2 pieces of timber required for the wall plate are 150 X 9 X 4.5 cm, and 150 X 2 X 3 cm. The timber should be painted or stained.

In the rain & humidity, the back gate has become swollen & is jamming in the door frame

The gate is not closing properly and seems to need to be “shaved” so that it doesn’t jam when closing.
