I have a metal side gate where the latch/bolt goes into a brick wall. The brick has worn out and been patched previously and the bolt can now be forced out, wearing away the brick. I need a proper, long-lasting fix. I believe we need to drill into the brick and install a steel receiver/sleeve (tube) for the bolt or something similar to fix the issue. Open to other ideas!

Looking for a handyman to repair a side gate latch. The striker plate (the metal tongue) has come off the metal gate frame. Re-mounting the metal striker plate (I have the plate and the original self-tapping screws). Note: The original screw holes in the gate frame appear stripped/enlarged. You will likely need to drill new pilot holes or use slightly larger tek screws (self-tapping metal screws) to ensure a secure fit.
