I need a handyman or fencing contractor to repair and reinstall two metal fence/gate panels at my property in Bossley Park. The fence section has come loose due to nearby excavation works (stormwater trenching). The panels are currently detached and not aligned properly. My front metal gate is not closing or locking properly after I installed a new lock. The latch is misaligned and the gate doesn’t shut securely. I’m concerned it may open on its own, so this needs to be properly adjusted and secured. This is a safety issue as I have dogs and need the gate fully secure. I am looking for to supply and install two metal gates one is 3 meters long (1.8 meters fixed 1.2 gate) second 3.3 meters with two gates. I need metal slates with merabu colour.

My external metal gate is no longer aligning properly with the latch. The gate appears to sit too far away from the strike plate/lock, so it won’t close or stay secured. It may have sagged slightly or the hinges/lock position may need adjustment. Looking for someone to realign the gate and ensure it closes and latches securely.

Movement of metal gate and frame means the lock and latching mechanism doesn't line up anymore. Gate has moved up/striker plate has moved down. Need someone to remove the current lock (undo some screws and drill out some rivets) and then reposition and reinstall the lock ~1cm further down. Will need to drill and make new holes in the metal gate. The other option is to move the strike plate and but the I'm not sure there's enough metal in the frame left to rivet the plate back into thr frame.

Need a handyman to repair a damaged gate hinge. The gate is metal, attached to a wooden post (see photo).
