Gas Cooktop Repair – Gas Valve Stuck Open One of the gas burner control valves on our cooktop has failed and is stuck in the open position. The affected burner is the top right burner. When the gas supply is turned on, gas flows continuously from this burner regardless of the knob position. For safety, the gas has been isolated at the mains.
