Council has sent us a letter saying that there are weeds in clumps on our 3000 square meter open block of bush land that need to be destroyed. One of each type of weed on the block is identified by a plastic ribbon. There are various clumps of weeds and brush across the block. The herbicide spray operator will need to walk the block and selectively spray, as and when, they come across the identified weed type. There are future plans to clear the block one day, to build a house and there is much wild brush and invasive weeds across it. Most of the unwanted brush and weeds are at the higher end of the block. There are no plants of special nature on the block, so any accidental spraying is not an issue. However, standard care needs to be taken not to spray on a windy day to prevent carry over to adjacent properties. Standard insurances are needed.
