I have two areas of garden at my front and there are a couple of hedges bounding the neighbour. I need someone to trim 3 hedges and a few plants to thi them out and also remove dead leaves from plans pick out the big weeds and reduce some of the plant spread. Generally takes me 2-3 hours but I injured myself a week or two ago which means I’ll not be in a state to do it for a couple of weeks. It looks quite big on the photos but most of it is actually dirt I don’t need the grass cut. However Airtasker asks me how big the lawn is and I have to answer to continue. This is a strange one. I have a strip at the side of the house. The bottom section is flat, then there is a steep bank and then there is a flat bit at the top. I’ve been climbing up the slope and clearing the bit at the top to make sure it doesn’t get out of control and climb up the side of the house for above 10 years. Last Sunday I found it was very overgrown and I couldn’t get up easily and I slipped down and hurt my leg and arm - not badly but enough to make this 60 year old not do it again in its current form. So…..what I want is for someone to dig some temporary wooden steps into the bank - example attached - clear the bank and then cut down the plants at the top and pull off those growing against the wall. It would even be helpful if the flat area at the top was bounded by some Timbers secured in a similar way to the steps. Airtasker is asking me how big the lawn is. We have a 780 sq metre, 100% organic garden on the northern beaches in Sydney. We keep chickens, grow a lot of our own fruit & veg, have a top bar bee hive, a pet rabbit and have much local wildlife (possums, blue tongued lizards, brush turkeys, turtle doves etc). We're after someone to maintain our garden (weeding mainly), and someone who loves nature. We don't use any chemical sprays, so you will see beautiful spider webs dotted around our garden. If you don't like spiders and bees, we're not for you! We can provide a beekeeping suit and veil for weeding close to our bee hive. We're after someone to regularly maintain our garden. My husband Steve is a horticulturist and landscape designer so he manages new plantings, mulching, soil amendments, mowing, trimming, hedging, etc. We just need help to stay on top of the weeds.
