I’m looking for an experienced carpenter to replace the existing skirting boards on the staircase and landings of my Victorian terrace in Surry Hills, Sydney. The existing skirting has been painted over many times and has numerous poor-quality repairs, uneven joins and filler. I’d like it removed and replaced with new heritage-style moulded skirting to achieve a much cleaner, high-end finish. Scope of works: * Remove and dispose of existing skirting boards. * Supply and install matching Victorian/heritage moulded skirting. * Staircase and landings across: * Ground Floor * First Floor * Second Floor Cut and scribe all mitres and internal/external corners accurately. * Ensure tight joins around stair stringers and landings. * Fill nail holes and any minor gaps.

While on-site, we also need one fallen roller blind re-hung and a few picture frames put up, both onto concrete walls as well. You will need to bring your own tools, including a mitre saw, a hammer drill for concrete, and any necessary fixings or adhesive.

Hi Rod, My apartment is an split-level with stairs in the interior, I want to change the current skirting boards in the long section of the stairs (parallel long boards on each side), they look old and a bit swollen at the base (made from MDF). I want to keep the rest of the skirting ( landing step, and last steps before reaching the bottom), the pictures attached should help to make it clearer.
