I need someone to supply and install tall skirting boards for a room in Surry Hills. Please find the pics for details. It’s for the section in black online. The wall is uneven and the bottom section has rough/patchy plaster, so I need a neat finish that hides the imperfect wall/floor edge. Scope: * Supply all materials * Install white/primed skirting boards, ideally 160mm high or higher * Prefer simple modern profile, such as splayed, bullnose, or flat DAR style * Cut and fit neatly around corners * Use adhesive/nails/screws as needed * Fill gaps along the top edge with paintable gap filler * Fill nail holes/joints * Leave ready for painting, or include painting if you can Materials to be supplied by tasker: * Skirting boards, 160mm+ height * Adhesive / nails / screws * Gap filler / caulk * Filler for joins and nail holes * Any other materials required for a clean finish The wall is not perfectly straight, so I need someone experienced who can make it look clean and professional. Looking for a skilled carpenter or handyman to install about 5 metres of skirting boards in our downstairs entrance and kitchen. We already have the boards painted and ready to go; you just need to cut them to size and fix them to the concrete walls. While on-site, we also need one fallen roller blind re-hung and a few picture frames put up, both onto concrete walls as well. You will need to bring your own tools, including a mitre saw, a hammer drill for concrete, and any necessary fixings or adhesive.
