Hello, We are looking for an experienced handyman, floorer, or carpenter to securely re-attach a peeling skirting board at our retail store, in Westfield Pacific Fair. The Issue: A section of the black vinyl skirting board at the base of our pre-test room wall has completely detached from the wall. It is bowing outwards into the walkway, creating a distinct trip hazard for our staff and patients. The Job: The task is to re-secure the skirting board flat against the wall. The scope of work will involve: 1. Preparing the area by cleaning off old, failed adhesive from the back of the skirting trim and the plasterboard wall. 2. Supplying and applying a heavy-duty, commercial-grade contact adhesive or high-tack construction adhesive. 3. Pressing and securing the skirting board firmly back into place so it sits flat and flush, especially around the corner near the door frame. 4. Cleaning off any excess adhesive for a neat, professional finish. Requirements: - Proven experience with flooring, carpentry, or general shopfitting repairs. - You must supply all your own tools and a suitable heavy-duty adhesive. - Ability to work cleanly and professionally within a live retail environment. - Public liability insurance is required. Some areas of the skirting boards are swollen because they were wet. The bottom of doorframes need timber inserted where my puppy chewed on them. They'll all need to be painted with primer after so they don't get damaged again before i have the painted.

Hey, I have a two car garage that has been renovated into a studio like living. I need skirting boards and window/door frames installed as soon as possible.

Looking for a handyman to do two quick small repair jobs on one 3.6m long bedroom wall: Skirting Board Supply & Installation: One wall is missing about 3/4 of its skirting board. I need the remaining small piece removed and put in the gap on the left wall, and 1 single, continuous new length of skirting board supplied, cut, painted and installed across the full length of the wall so it looks seamless. Wall Patching: There are two holes in the plasterboard wall, each slightly larger than a standard double power point. These need to be securely patched, filled, and sanded back flush, and painted. The powerpoints in the pics have been removed. I don't have any material or tools etc, but can get matching paint if that helps to have it ready when you arrive.

I tried doing it myself but struggled to get them off cleanly and ended up damaging some of the plasterboard wall in the process. I am having some new hyrbid floors installed. The floor installers will remove the old skirting board. Once the floors are installed, I need help with installing the new skirting boards. I will supply the skirting boards but need help with installation. There is approx. 120 lineal metres of skirting to be installed.

We had some puppies chew the curbed of two skirting boards a few years ago. Looking to repair them now the dogs are grown. I tried to patch them up a while ago, but as you can see it looks terrible!
