Need someone to install laminate flooring in space approx 65m2. There is existing flooring in which we want to just lay new flooring directly on top of. Small area needs some sort of underlay to make level with existing flooring approx 2-3mm fill in. Will provide laminate flooring.

Hi there, I’m looking for an experienced handy person or flooring installer to complete a laminate flooring job in my kitchen, dining room, lounge room and hall area approximately 70 sq metres in Katoomba NSW. Scope of works: Prepare subfloor (clean and level check) Move furniture as required to lay laminate (I can help with this) Install underlay (supplied) Install laminate flooring (approx. 70m², supplied) Install transition strips at doorways (e.g. laminate to carpet where applicable) Install scotia/trim to finish edges Areas: Kitchen Dining Lounge Small hallway Materials: Laminate flooring supplied (lightly used, only down for ~3 months, in good condition), 5G click lock system. We need a professional to repair some surface scratches on my flooring caused by movers. * Damage: There is one long, continuous scratch spanning across several planks (approx. 1–1.5 meters) and a few smaller scuffs nearby. * Floor Type: Timber-look laminate or engineered wood (please see photos for grain and finish). * Requirements: Looking for someone with experience in floor restoration who can buff out or fill these scratches so they are no longer visible.
