The unit is 44m² in total and I’ve already laid roughly 10m², so there’s about 34m² left to go. It’s 8mm water resistant laminate (Tasmanian Oak) being installed as a floating floor over the existing timber floorboards. The remaining areas are the living/dining, kitchen and hallway. All the flooring material has already been purchased and is sitting in the middle of the unit, so there’s nothing to source, quote or pick up. All the doors have also already been trimmed down to accommodate the new floor height. There’s minimal furniture and anything in the way will be relocated before work starts. The rooms are simple and mostly rectangular. The only fiddly area in the whole job is one small linen press. Scotia and door thresholds to be fitted as part of the job, and I’d ask that offcuts and packaging are stacked in one spot for me to dispose of afterwards. Floating floor boards lifting up. I think they don’t leave enough room for expansion. In front of bedroom door, stopping door from closing. Just need to adjust so they lie flat. Cost to include materials and labour.

Replace floating floorboards in a kitchen area

Approximately 50 m² of floating floorboards installed. Materials will be provided.

I need 100sqm of floating floorboards removed from a property in Wahroonga and then transported to north Bondi and installed into a home there. The apartment in Bondi in only 80sqm so not all will be used (council pickup for leftovers is already booked do extras can be left outside). House in Bondi is 4 rooms and a hallway. Doors may need to be trimmed down as flooring is going on top of carpet and underlay. Bamboo flooring. Floating floor system, no glue, comes up very easily and ready to re lay. See photos.

I have removed the warped floorboards and underlay from the kitchen and need someone to come and lay the new floor boards down. (apparently 5 sqm) There is 1 more board to remove, but the rest is done.
