There is an existing wooden post bolted to the wall where I'm assuming the old owner had/tried to put a fence. Ground under the stones looks to be some dodgy concrete. I don't want anything bolted to the neighbours brickwork (the dark bricks). I've also attached some pictures of your previous work as reference.
