I am looking for an experienced handyman or fencing contractor to complete two fence extension tasks at my property. Task 1 – Timber Fence Extension Extend an existing timber fence by approximately 50 cm in height Total length: 19.2 metres The extension should match the existing fence as closely as possible and be securely installed. Task 2 – Colorbond Fence Extension Extend an existing Colorbond fence by approximately 40 cm in height Total length: 7.2 metres The extension should be neat, secure, and compatible with the existing Colorbond fence. Requirements Supply all materials, tools, and labour. Previous fencing experience preferred. Please provide photos of extension fence so that we can choose one. I would like to add fence extensions on my back fences for privacy. I think I would need about 8-10 panels installed. Need an experienced handyman/tradie with SDS hammer drilling experience to install steel angle brackets on top of Kensington concrete sleepers for a chicken run setup. Scope of work: • Install 6 steel angle brackets on top of concrete sleepers (2 holes per bracket) • Fix 1.2m vertical timber posts to the brackets • Pull through and secure approximately 10–12 metres of chicken mesh • Build a small timber gate approximately 75cm wide x 1.2m high I will supply: • Steel angle brackets • Timber • Chicken mesh Please bring: • SDS hammer drill and required tools • Suitable masonry anchors/bolts and screws Please quote labour separately and include the cost of bolts/screws required for the installation. I had to remove a side gate to allow access for a battery installation. The gate now needs to be reinstalled four metres from its original location. Near to the down-pipe. There is sufficient space.The side gate fits perfectly and only requires installation. The work is straightforward: one post will need to be secured to the building with a screw, and the other to the fence. The door also needs to be reversed so it opens by pulling instead of pushing. The task should take no more than 45 minutes.
