I am selling my house in Eltham so I need an affordable option to create privacy screening alongside the entire boundary walls of my property. I have spoken to council and it will need to be 900mm in from the current fence so that I do not have to go back and forth with neighbours. I want the screening in timber with metal posts in between. The height of current fence is 1850mm, I need the extension to reach 3000mm. The length of the area is: Back fence against neighbours 11 meters in length Back fence facing empty plot 5 meters in length. I am including an image of the look I want but I want the timber slats painted black to match the metal post. As I mentioned, I am moving home and this is to get the sale so not looking for an expensive option but at the same time I want it to be safe, sturdy and aesthetic. We had a colourbond gate “professionally” installed about 2 years ago. The gate/s have a tendency to sag and either hit each other or scrape along the driveway.
