What you’ll do - Scope and shortlist venues using an accessibility and sensory-friendly checklist (quiet rooms, lighting, acoustics, step-free access, bathrooms). - Coordinate suppliers (AV, catering, captioning/Auslan, photography), obtain quotes, compare options, and manage bookings. - Build simple run sheets, timelines, budgets, and checklists; track tasks and deadlines. - Manage registrations (Eventbrite/Humanitix), email/SMS comms, and on-the-day coordination. - Plan accessibility: clear signage, sensory supports, seating layout, traffic flow, quiet space setup, content warnings. - Handle risk assessment and incident basics; ensure insurance/COIs and permits are in place. - Post-event wrap: feedback forms, debrief notes, cost/revenue summary, and improvements log. About you - Demonstrated experience with inclusive or disability-literate events; ND community familiarity is a strong plus. - Excellent organisation and communication: you keep me on track with brief, clear updates and checklists. - Comfortable working to precise standards and repeating what works. - Tech-capable: spreadsheets, Eventbrite/Humanitix, Google Drive/Docs. - ABN and ability to invoice.
