I’ve replaces a 24v battery system (2x 12v batteries) with 1 x 18v Makita battery. But now my unit won’t run. I know the circuit board isn’t blown because it works when I put it back to original. I need to figure out what component in the circuit board is stopping 18v getting to the motor.

My motorcycle hasn't been used for a few months due to covid. When I try turn it on, it won't start. I've never jumpstarted a motorcycle but I've heard you can't use a car to do it.
