Hi, I’m looking for a licensed electrician to check and repair a faulty power point in my kitchen. The power point is used for the gas cooktop ignition and is currently not working. The cooktop ignition has no power/no clicking sound.

1. Need a new power point so that when the tv is on the wall no cables hang down. Closest power point just below 2. Install 65 inch tv on the wall gybrock with bracket I’ve already purchased

All three bathrooms are fully tiled, with tiles extending to the ceiling/ceiling tiles, so I would prefer cabling to be routed through the ceiling cavity where practical to minimise damage to tiled walls. TOILET 1 – WHITE/MARBLE TILED BATHROOM: There is an existing external light fitting immediately outside the bathroom, which may provide a potential power source. Please assess whether this circuit can safely and compliantly be utilised/extended to supply the smart toilet. TOILETS 2 & 3 – BEIGE/TAN TILED BATHROOMS: There is no obvious nearby power source. Power may potentially be brought through the ceiling cavity above each bathroom and routed down to a suitable position beside/behind the toilet. SCOPE: • Install 3 power points suitable for smart toilets • Assess existing circuits and available power • Determine the neatest/compliant cable routes • Use existing circuits where suitable, or advise if a new circuit is required • Provide appropriate RCD/RCBO protection and isolation as required • Minimise damage to tiled walls • Test and provide electrical compliance documentation Please inspect the site before commencing, particularly the existing external light circuit and ceiling access. Looking for an electrician for TV wall mounting, with all cables concealed for a clean finish and new PowerPoint. I already have the new 75-inch Hisense TV and Sanus fixed wall bracket, both pictured. The TV currently sitting on the cabinet is being replaced. Work required: 1. Install a new double power point behind the TV cabinet, concealed from view. There is an existing power point nearby on the adjoining wall—see photos. Please leave that existing outlet in place. 2. Install a new power point behind the wall-mounted TV, properly wired and positioned so the outlet and plug do not interfere with the fixed bracket. 3. Supply and install one quality HDMI cable concealed inside the wall, running from behind the TV down to behind the cabinet, with neat cable pass-through/brush plates at both ends. 4. Install the supplied bracket and mount the new TV, securely fixed to suitable wall structure, level and at an agreed height and position. Connect and test everything. Please include any additional person needed to lift and mount the TV safely. The aim is no visible hanging cables, extension leads across the floor or exposed surface conduit. Wall construction and the best concealed wiring route will need to be confirmed. The RCD labelled “Protected Power” (C20, 30mA) trips the instant I switch it on, so all power points are dead. Lighting circuit is fine. Cause is known: insecticide spray went into one power point and the tripping started immediately after. The RCD has been off since and I haven’t touched the outlet. What I need: the affected outlet inspected and replaced, and the circuit tested.
