Hi, I need an experienced, licensed plumber/gasfitter to diagnose a hot water safety issue with my Bosch Hydropower 16H instantaneous gas hot water system. Since moving into the property, the hot water has become extremely hot throughout the house. The temperature rises quickly, and on several occasions the water has felt hot enough to burn my hand. When I mix hot and cold water to get a comfortable temperature, the water can suddenly switch between very hot and very cold, making it difficult and potentially dangerous to use. A plumber previously attended but was unable to resolve the problem. I have a 2-year-old child, so this is an urgent safety concern. Could you please investigate the cause, check the gas hot water system, water flow and any tempering or temperature-limiting valves, and advise on the necessary repairs? There is a junction box under my laundry that needs to be replaced as it is shorting intermittently. This has already been diagnosed by an electrician that cannot currently attend. There is under floor access, roughly 3m from the junction box. There is a new switchboard with safety switches installed.
