Bought a second hand small F&P frost free freezer from Marketplace and paid for an airtasker to pick up but now it is making a humming noise and turning on and off . Does this mean it’s on its way out? Can it be fixed? Is it worth the money to get an electrician to fix Or is it best to just throw it out? I bought it for my daughter who is a uni student and so are the housemates so budget is minimal .
