Hi, I’m looking for a licensed electrician to complete several lighting and switch repairs at my home. 1️⃣ Replace 2 dimmers with standard on/off switches Each switch has 5 × GU5.3 MR16 LED downlights, Lights currently buzz and do not turn on. Likely faulty dimmer switches. We do NOT want dimmers anymore. Replace both with standard on/off switches .New switches will be supplied. See Image_1 & Image_2 2️⃣ Replace 4 MR16 lamp holders (sockets) Need 4 × GU5.3 MR16 ceramic lamp holders replaced. These are the sockets where the bulb pins insert. Existing holders are worn/damaged. New ceramic GU5.3 lamp holders will be supplied. See Image_3 3️⃣ Replace 1 faulty light switch One standard light switch makes an occasional sparking/crackling sound. Needs replacement for safety. New switch will be supplied. See Image_4 4️⃣ Replace 3 GU5.3 MR16 LED bulbs Need help replacing 3 existing bulbs. Fittings are tight/stuck and I can’t remove them safely. Hello, We are looking for a licensed NSW Electrician to attend our retail store, in Newtown, to replace three faulty ceiling downlights. The Issue: Three recessed LED downlights on our main sales floor are out and no longer illuminate. This is affecting the overall brightness and professional presentation of our store. The Job: The task is to supply and install new replacements for all three faulty lights. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the light fittings in the high ceiling (approx. 3.5 meters). 2. Removing the three old downlight fittings. 3. Supplying and installing three new, suitable replacement LED downlights and/or drivers. 4. Ensuring the new lights' colour temperature and brightness match the other existing lights. 5. Testing the new lights to confirm they are fully operational. Light Specification (for sourcing a match): - Type: LED Downlight Deco, 13W Round, White, Dimmable, Warm White (from GoLights). See attached spec sheet. Requirements: - MUST be a fully licensed and insured NSW Electrician. - You must have your own tools, including an A-frame ladder or platform appropriate for a 3.5-meter ceiling height. - Experience with commercial lighting, particularly recessed LEDs, is essential. - The contractor must be able to supply the three replacement downlight fittings. Downlights need changing, they are old and the transformers have gone bad for a few. I have the new downlights and the backend connections. Might need to make the hole bigger when installing new ones so pease bring a saw to cut through the gyprock if necessary. Thank you
