I would like to replace 5 flush mount/ recessed downlight with 5new pendant light. I have previously removed a similar light in the study room (4) and discovered that the ceiling hole is larger than the mounting base of the new pendant. The electronic ballast has failed (it makes a buzzing sound when turned on but the tube doesn't light up).
