I need five new ZEN photoelectric wireless interconnected smoke alarms installed at a house in Carina, Brisbane. The alarms are brand new and already wirelessly interconnected from the manufacturer. They have sealed 10-year batteries and are designed for self-installation, so no electrical wiring is required. The job involves: Remove the mounting brackets from the five alarms. Position and securely screw the mounting brackets to the ceilings in the appropriate locations. Activate each alarm according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Attach each alarm to its mounting bracket. Test all five alarms to make sure they are operating correctly and communicating/interconnecting with one another. Test the supplied remote control and confirm the test/hush function works. Make sure everything is secure and leave the area tidy. The pack includes 5 alarms, remote control and mounting screws. The alarms are supplied already interconnected. The manufacturer states they simply need to be switched on and installed. What the Tasker should bring Please bring your own: Drill and appropriate drill bits. Ladder/step ladder. Basic installation tools.
