I have 2 smoke alarms that need attention: 1. Smoke alarm 1: Making a continuous beeping sound similar to a low-battery warning. I have already replaced the battery with a new one, but the beeping is still continuing. Need someone to inspect and fix/replace it if required. 2. Smoke alarm 2: The alarm is hanging loose and is not fixing back securely into its mounting bracket. Need it properly reattached and secured. Hi, I need a smoke alarm battery replaced. A ladder will be required, as it is on a high ceiling (approx. 10-12 feet).

Looking for someone experienced with smoke alarms to attend our house after 6:30 pm today or before 3:00 pm tomorrow to diagnose and fix a smoke alarm that is continuously sounding. The alarm is currently doing three rapid beeps, short pause, then three rapid beeps again continuously. There is no obvious smoke or fire present, and the alarm has continued sounding despite attempts to silence it. We are currently away from home and have a dog sitter staying at the house. She will be home from 6:30 pm today until 3:00 pm tomorrow, so attendance would need to be during that time. Task would include: • Diagnose the cause of the alarm • Reset, repair or replace the alarm if required • Check interconnected alarms if applicable • Make sure the system is functioning normally before leaving Please bring any suitable replacement smoke alarm or battery that may be required. One of my smoke alarms was chirping tonight - on inspection it needed replacing 5 years ago (oops). I have three that need replacing. Wiring is all there, just need a licenced sparky to put three new ones in (Bunnings is at the bottom of our street if that helps). The old ones are EXIT EXI3786M9, an old ionisation smoke alarm model that has been discontinued.so would need a whole new unit not just a replacement head.chucking a price up that would include you supplying smoke alarms — ones in last picture are $35 each at Bunnings.
