Task 1 - install a power point on the side of our kitchen island bench (power already runs to the island for a dishwasher in the middle so should be relatively straightforward). Task 2 - provide and install 4 down lights in the garage ceiling (already one light in the centre however it’s not bright enough, hoping to have these run off a separate switch right next to the first one). Task 3 - our garage and laundry appear to be connected to the same breaker switch and now that we have an electric car we can no longer run a washing machine and dryer at the same time whilst the car charges without tripping the fuse. Need these two rooms split into separate fuses). Please confirm in your quotation that you are a licensed electrician (I will be requesting to see your ESV or equivalent license before work commences to avoid home handymen putting up quotes for this job, only licensed contractors please).

Hi everyone, ​I need a fully licensed electrician to complete three relatively straightforward jobs at my house: ​1. Light Fixture Swap #1 ​Remove: An existing hardwired IKEA ceiling light. ​Install: A new "About Space" 3-globe pendant light. ​2. Light Fixture Swap #2 ​Remove: An existing 3-spotlight ceiling bar. ​Install: A brand new Telbix pendant light (Black/Muted Gold, 450mm diameter). ​Note for both lights: Existing wiring is already in the ceiling, and I have all the mounting brackets, terminal blocks, and hardware that came with the new lights. ​3. Wall Heater Removal ​Remove: An old wall-mounted electric panel heater. ​If it is hardwired, I will need the wiring safely disconnected, capped off, and made safe in the wall. ​Please note: I only need the heater electrically disconnected and physically removed from the wall; I will organize patching/painting the plasterboard myself later. ​Requirements: ​You must be a licensed electrician in Victoria (please confirm this when making an offer). ​Please bring your own tools, standard electrical consumables, and a ladder. ​Please let me know in your offer if you are able to take the old fixtures and heater away for disposal, or if I should plan to dispose of them myself. ​I have attached photos showing the existing ceiling fixtures, the mounting brackets/hardware for the new lights, a reference photo of what the new lights look like, and the heater to be removed. ​Thanks!
