Tasker will be removing the concrete surrounding the steel column x 9 columns for an area of 1m below the top of the column so the steel column is cleanly exposed. The Tasker will need to use a light/medium size hand jack hammer and angle grinder to first cut a grid of cuts so concrete pieces will pop off easier once touched with the jack hammer. Some of the columns (as pictured will need the use of a scissor lift, which I will provide along with training on how to use safely for the Tasker. If the Tasker has a ‘yellow card’ (EWPA) that will be looked upon favourably. If the Tasker has their own tools, that will be looked upon favourably. Safety clothing, ear/eye/foot protection is a must. Refer pictures for more details. Open to any questions. Work time is flexible and can be undertaken over a number of agreed days but the right tasker is probably capable of finishing the same day. Car parking access is easy where Tasker’s vehicle will be within meters of where Tasker will be working. Work cannot occur before 7am or after 6pm. If on a Saturday not before 9am or after 3pm. 1. Garden Bed & Tree Removal Remove trees, shrubs, and garden scrub from six garden beds, including major root systems (not surface cuts only). Dimensions and locations are shown in the attached photos: Garden beds range from approx. 2m–4m long and 0.5m–1.0m wide, with specific beds identified for removal, and some nearby trees clearly marked as not to be removed. • All vegetation will be poisoned prior to job to assist removal. • Soil to be left reasonably level after root removal. • Take care to avoid trees marked “not to be removed”. 2. Garden Path & Area Clean-Up • Remove weeds and shrubs from garden pathways (three main paths). • Clean up one car parking spot area. • Remove and dispose of pot plants in these areas. • Pot plants may be kept by the Airtasker (can be sold for profit) or disposed of in the skip. 3. Demolition Works • Pull down and remove basic cubby house. • Demolish non-functional brick BBQ (sledgehammer likely required). • Bricks may be kept by Airtasker (can be sold for profit) or disposed of in skip. 4. Waste Management • All waste to be placed in a Bunnings Skip (1,000kg capacity). • Skip must be towed to local Waste Facility (approx. 1km away). • Airtasker must supply vehicle with tow bar (if you are unable to provide vehicle for towing – please say so and we can provide, however, you will be responsible for commuting to waste facility and loading / unloading skip). • Skip hire and waste disposal costs are paid separately and are not included in your quote. What You’ll Need • Own tools (e.g. chainsaw, shovel, sledgehammer, pruning tools). • Vehicle with tow bar (unless stated that you would like us to provide). • Experience with garden clearance and demolition preferred. • Able to handle physical outdoor work and heavy lifting. I need a brick wall demolished. The wall is approximately 2 m high with a 1.5 brick cross section (around 350 mm x 350 mm). No waste disposal is required as I will look after all rubble and waste. You just need to safely demolish and remove the wall material. You definitely need to have a jack hammer for this job. Please don’t apply if you don’t jack hammer. We need a shed and the concrete slab it is sitting on to be demolished and the debris removed. The shed / slab measures approx 2.5m x 4m. It is in the back corner of our property and the only access is via the front gate - approx 35m distance. The shed itself is in good condition and could be re-used potentially, although the internal uprights are cemented in.
