I have a roughly 6m x 3m timber deck that has a dark stain on it and am looking for someone to sand it all off for me so that it is back to bare. As you can see in the photo I have started the front of the deck with an orbital hand sander but its taking too long. I am going to restain it a different colour myself. Not sure what is a fair price for however many hours but happy to be reasonable and will go ahead if I can afford you! (before I resort to DIY!)

Had the deck roof timber frame replaced, made a start painting and just not getting the time to finish. I'll supply everything (paint and equipment) to get the job done. It is accessable by 3 step ladder except there is a section that is about 4mtrs off the ground from a pool deck only about 600mm wide footing, quiet tricky to get too. If you have the expertise and equipment (I do not have equipment to access) to get that area done then feel free to state so and make an offer. Otherwise any offers I will assume encompass the basic job of 2 coats of the frame accessed from a 3 step ladder. (provided) Estimate 3 hours work (some dry time might be required which would break the job up). Probably don't need to say it but if there is any spilage especially on the timber decking - there's no money coming your way. Will supply drop sheets. Job date negotiable to suit both of us and the weather. Located in Yallambie (north-east suburbs). I have a few basic jobs still to do (decking/paver pressure wash, deck Oil, pool glass clean, further painting, all sorts of DIY stuff) if the right person does a good job at the right price happy to supply further cash work.
