Find experienced deck builders in North Brisbane

I need 10 posts painted around a pool deck in black and about 30 square met of decking oiled. I will supply materials.

Staircase needs some repair, one step has fallen through, a couple are wobbly. Keen to understand how this could be fixed. Not too concerned about how it looks as long as it's safe

Looking for some one to paint over the front facing merbau in the pics below. Not the deck, just the street facing pieces to give a continuity of colour. Other small touch up jobs also included. Would suit someone local. I’m happy to supply the paint and discuss the smaller jobs when you’re here.

We have had a section of timber railing repaired on our back deck and stairs and need it painted. Paint and brushes supplied. There is also some new slat work (bits and pieces boards) below the rail.

Post the wild storm at the end of October, 6 ends of decking board have ripped up as the subshades were down (wasnt expecting that kind of storm!). Some parts were nailed in, so replacing with screws will be ideal. One end has already had 4x 2inch hex-heads put in, and these have all ripped out including the little wooden slot its drilled into (its snapped out - see photo with screw in to see where missing wood to screw into) Job: recut and install wooden block to screw one piece in. Screw all 6 ends down. Access under the railing is tricky. We don't want to redo decking, as this will be a 2026 job with a reno.

I need to build a deck round my pool with a retainer wall using composite sleepers. At one end I want to include a seating area with a timber roof. I would like someone to quote my work and I will buy materials. Also want someone willing to let me help with the project please. Posted photo is old but clearly shows the pool area. The retainer wall is to go behind the brown bricks. The Timber roof area is to go against the back fence where pool pump is. *Open to suggestions to maximize the space. In short, our tiled upstairs balcony pools water in heavy rain and the water has nowhere to go in heavy rain but to seep through the tiles into our downstairs area. I’m worried over time this will cause water damage internally so I’d like to get it fixed. Deck area: 3970 x 2000. We need a builder to help us: • Remove the existing tiles, • Create a new fall/slope level for water to flow away from the house, • waterproof and retile. • We are also looking to remove our double bay doors and swap this out for a sliding door as part of this renovation job. Brief specifics: • Demolish and remove existing tiles and remove lower section of FC sheeting. • Removal of existing double doors. – • Supply and install new white frame sliding door with security screen door, with new architraves. – • Create new deck fall away from the building with new Scyon Secura underlay. – • Supply and install wall flashing for waterproofing. • Fully waterproof deck area. – • Install owner supplied tiles. – • Make good FC lining and complete with cover strips. – • Dispose of waste and builders clean. We are ready to hire and we serious about moving forward as we don’t want to go through another year with water seeping into the home, damaging the frame. I have hardwood decking due for washing and deck oil coating circa 110M2

There are two areas on my back deck that I would like Possum proofed. The picture attached is mirrored on the other side. It is the top area above the lattice . I don't have any real ideas the best way to do it but it just needs to look as tidy as possible. Combination of wood and netting?

Need a handyman to unscrew and lift a few timber panels on our side deck, remove any debris or nesting material underneath (rat treatment was done recently as rats were there on the deck), then reattach the panels securely and fill or seal all visible gaps and access points around the deck and pipe area to prevent anything from getting back in. Please bring your own tools and materials (mesh, filler, timber, ladder, etc.) to finish the job properly. Access: Easy access from the side of the house.
