Hi, Looking for an IT guru to hook up a new modem or booster (or both) to improve internet signal in home. I live 1 minute from an office works so can buy modem/booster etc… depending on what you advise. Two story house and wifi signal poor the further you get from modem. I bought a Linksys WRT3200ACM VPN ROUTER online, which has been configured with ExpressVPN firmware by the seller. We have a paid ExpressVPN account and an NBN connection. TPG is my ISP. I tried to connect the router with online troubleshooting assistance, but have admitted defeat after realising that expert help was getting lost in translation by the time it reached my inbox. 1). Just bought a Netgear Orbi AX6000 WiFi Mesh System (RBK853). Router and two satellites. 2). I am connected to Internode, on an NBN HFC connection. Multiple Macs, some wifi, some connected to Ethernet. I also have several external drives, some connected as NAS, some connected to ethernet. 3). We also have a Sonos system, separating wifi via a ‘Sonos boost’ device. 4). We are a Mac household with only 1 PC (connects to wifi only) So, I want someone to: A). My modem/router has been compromised with the mac address being spoofed to a dummy one. Need someone to have a look and provide an RCA. Essentially; 1. Mac address being broadcast is a dummy and does not match the one shown on the product 2. The SSID being broadcast doesnt match the one shown on the product 3. After a factory reset the modem doesn’t require the default wifi password for devices to connect This is running latest firmware Model - dlink cobra AC5300
