Improve wiFi in our house after NBN "upgrade"

    $90

Bellevue Hill, New South Wales, Australia

We just had NBN installed in our house. It's working well, but unlike the previous modem, the wifi no longer extends to the study. We need this fixed.

    Upgrade My Laptop

    $50

    Centennial Park NSW 2021, Australia

    12th May 2015

I have just purchased an ACER ES1-411-C1WD Laptop. It has a dummy / blanking plate over where the DVD drive should be. It has 16 screws holding the rear cover on. Currently it has a 500GB Hard Drive installed. It is brand new and there is no data or settings to worry about. I would like someone knowledgeable in this area to: 1) Replace the 2GB RAM with new stick of 8GB RAM which I will supply 2) Install an SSD drive, which I will supply as the boot / operating system drive 3) Do a clean install of Windows 8.1 onto the SSD (or possibly clone the original drive) 4) Install and format the existing 500GB hard drive as a secondary drive in the unused DVD drive space and point windows to use it for files (My Docs etc). Task location is Centennial Park.
