Looking for a carpenter for attic conversion. Flooring/framing/install windows,skylights and a flatpack staircase. Need someone who is confident identifying structural needs in attic conversion. You need to be a good, reliable communicator and have experience and tools to do the job. You need to be happy working with me (homeowner). I’ll get the grunt work done so you can do all the tasks that require skills and experience. I’m happy to pay day rate for your labor. I’ll get the materials so you can just turn up and get the real work done. It’s probably around 10 full days work. Suits a chippy who wants some weekend work. I’m happy for the job to be done just on the weekends.

I have just noticed that the brick under the front of the house has bowed a fair bit, and someone has had a go in the past at a bodge job (I notice another bit of timber fixed across the front bearer) Until it can be rectified fully, I would like someone to install an adjustable Uni-Pier, with a simple small concrete footing (access is difficult). This is just an additional subfloor pier in case the brickwork gives in. Note: Since the front bearer may have some old water damage, it might be better to place an adjustable pier on the perpendicular bearer (at the intersection of the nearest joist) - See photo.

There is visible rot and deterioration to the weatherboard cladding, corner trim, and timber at the base of one corner. Some boards will need to be replaced and the underlying timber assessed. Finish will need to be sanded and repainted to match existing. Photos available on request. Hi guys I have a brand-new small kitchen benchtop. I feel as though the installer only gave it a very rough light clearcoat. It was a raw finish with one light clear layer. I need someone that knows what they are doing to come and do one more good clear coat on Wednesday whilst I am at site around lunchtime. I will be here and will be able to open and give you access. I need to be out of the area by 3 pm. I can’t see this from being more than a one hour job? Happy to listen to your questions or opinions. Thanks

I’m looking for a skilled cabinet maker, carpenter, or experienced handyman to complete several small but detailed jobs at my home. The work involves kitchen base cabinet modifications under sink, using existing materials, and a small clothes line installation. Photos will be provided to clearly show all areas and dimensions. ⸻ Scope of Work 1. Install small fold-out clothesline (1mtr x .75mtr) • Wall-mounted fold-out clothesline, which is pre-assembled • To be securely fixed to an external brick wall with pictured bolts 2. Kitchen base cabinet modification • Existing kitchen has been altered, a washing machine and dishwasher has been installed - Adjust/cut down & refit base cabinet doors to fit space • Kitchen door already supplied — cutting and fitting only required 4. Replace kickboard (plinth). Noting kickboard provided - Replace existing kickboard (photos will show current setup) • New kickboard must sit further out than the original • This is required to accommodate the washing machine position 5. Custom base cabinet shelf (single unit) • Build and install one custom base cabinet shelf under the sink • The base cabinet shelf will: • Sit just under the S-bend of the plumbing • Fit between the washing machine and dishwasher • Have the side panels positioned on either side of the appliances • Approximate finished dimensions: • Width: 570 mm • Height: 300 mm • Depth: 550 mm • Shelving materials already onsite (off-cuts): • Panel 1: 690 mm x 440 mm • Panel 2: 520 mm x 440 mm • Shelf will need to be neatly boxed and cut around plumbing as required (photos will show details)

Person must have experience in, and produce a good quality stain and sealant for my back deck, bench seat and upper rafts. May require sanding in some areas.
