Custom Behind-Couch Console Shelf — Carpentry + Build Looking for a skilled carpenter/joiner to design, build, and deliver a custom freestanding console shelf to sit behind my couch. Step 1 — Site visit required Must come to site to confirm final measurements before starting. Rough dimensions: 280cm (L) × 75cm (H) × 20cm (D). The build: • Dark stained timber (walnut/jacobean tone — reference photos provided) • Skirting board relief cut at base so unit sits flush against the wall • Open shelf cavity on one end at floor level (~40–50cm wide) with a clean internal shelf fitted • Recessed powerboard housing — a hole cut through the unit so a powerboard sits flush and tidy inside (no cords hanging, neat finish) • Freestanding — no wall fixing required • Furniture-quality finish throughout — this is a feature piece in a living room Materials: Not supplying. Either provide itemised receipts on completion, or send a materials list (product names + quantities) so I can purchase from Bunnings. Qualified cabinetmaker wanted Small European laundry cabinets (am getting Ikea cabinetry for the rest of the house but the laundry space is too small so need custom). Approx 1300x500x2040-2060.
