Carpenter required to install double doors in an area where a sliding glass door was previously installed. The sliding door has already been removed. A new door frame will need to be built and the double doors installed. Site visit required to inspect, measure and discuss the job.

I have two otherwise clean and functional toilets with stubborn yellow/brown staining inside the porcelain bowls, particularly under the rim and in vertical streaks. The toilets have been regularly cleaned with normal toilet/bleach products, but the staining has not shifted. The cisterns are brand new, so I’m looking for someone experienced in removing old mineral/calcium/limescale or rust-type staining from porcelain toilets, rather than a standard bathroom clean. Task is for 2 toilets only. Looking for someone who: * has experience removing stubborn toilet-bowl staining/scale * can supply the appropriate professional descaling products and equipment * will use products/methods safe for glazed porcelain * will properly treat and scrub/descale both bowls, including under the rim Photos show the current condition. I understand very old staining may not come out 100%, but I’m looking for someone confident they can make a significant improvement.

I’m looking for a carpentry or cabinet-making apprentice, ideally someone in their later years of training or recently qualified, who would be interested in taking on a feature-wall project and adding a great finished piece to their portfolio. The project is to build a custom TV feature wall in my new home in Henley Brook. The wall is approximately 5270mm wide x 2910mm high and the design will include: • Centre space for a 98” wall-mounted TV • Electric fireplace positioned underneath the TV • Built-in shelving/display niches on both sides • LED strip lighting incorporated into the shelving • Lower cabinetry/storage on both sides • White gloss finish • Clean, modern and symmetrical overall look I have attached a visual of the design I’m trying to achieve. It is intended as a design guide rather than an exact construction drawing, so I’m happy to work through the finer details with you. I will purchase and provide the materials, so I’m mainly looking for your skills and labour. I’m also very happy to be hands-on and help throughout the build wherever I can. This could be a good opportunity for an apprentice who is confident with their skills and wants to tackle a substantial project independently, gain additional hands-on experience and have a high-impact finished project for their portfolio. Looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter for a few small repairs at a vacant property in Belmont. Jobs include replacing a small section of missing/damaged skirting, timber infill/repairs around an old heater/fireplace area and a couple of other small timber finishing jobs. Photos attached. I have Timbers H3 and I need a carpenter to build the frame for a small area 1.8 width and 1.4 length

My dog chewed some of the beading they need to be replaced and stained. I’ve got some from Bunnings. You’ll need a circular saw or a diagonal cutter to cut them to sites needs to be glued and nailed in.

Rotted wood in plank of step as pictured. Needs replacing, ideally painted same colour. I don’t have the wood. May need to replace stairs overall. Unsure, and need your guidance.

Hello, I'm looking for someone with experience in cabinetry, built-in wardrobes or joinery to finish an IKEA PAX wardrobe install to make it appear built in and a tidy finish. Scope of works 1. Install infill/filler panels • Fill the gaps between the wardrobe and the side walls with 16mm MR MDF. • Scribe the panels to the walls where required so everything sits flush. • Ideally use moisture-resistant MDF or similar ready for painting. 2. Install a kicker/plinth board • Cover the existing timber base with a neat kicker/plinth with either 16 or 18mm with 16mm MR MDF. • Continue the plinth across the full width so it appears built in. • Minimise visible joins. 3. Finishing • Light sand and prime final cut and fitted pieces • Colour match GRIMO door at Dulux trade centre • Ideally, paint with low sheen Dulux Aquanamel and using high-density foam roller to achieve sprayed-looking texture • Finish neatly against the existing skirting boards and also IKEA base (may require some filling of gaps above plinth / kicker) • Caulk as required. I'm looking for an experienced cabinetmaker or carpenter to modify two overhead kitchen cupboard doors so they close flush. A replacement rangehood has a stainless steel front fascia that projects slightly further than the original, meaning the two cupboard doors above it now sit approximately 10–15 mm proud when closed. The job would likely involve: Assessing the best solution. Removing the two cupboard doors. Routing/rebating or otherwise modifying the inside edge of the doors to provide clearance for the rangehood fascia. Reinstalling and adjusting the hinges so the doors close neatly and sit flush. The modification should be as discreet as possible, with no visible changes from the front when the doors are closed. Please only respond if you have experience with kitchen cabinetry or cabinetmaking, as I'd like a professional finish. I've attached photos showing the issue.

build 16 IKEA kitchen cabinets.. Carcasses only at this stage. Varying sizes. All boxed and brand new. No internals or doors required at this stage. I am open to paying more for somebody who is experienced with this type of work. It is about the quality of the job, not the length of time it takes to complete. I could be misguided re price here, but i figure a few quotes will give me a better understanding. Please ask any necessary questions

I have 2 wardrobe recesses. 1 master and 1 small recess. For now I just need a hanging shelf in both. White 20ml thick shelf? with pine wood supports underneath and a heavy duty silver pole. I will pay for materials extra. Other work available 😊
