Remove and replace existing timber decking. Approx 6sqm to replace but possibility more depending on cost.

Looking for someone to build a deck extension approx. 1m wide x 5m long. The area is currently bricked and the new section needs to join onto the existing deck. The existing deck is over 10 years old and we plan to stain the whole area so the new section blends in and hides flaws. We’re after the most cost-effective option and are happy to consider either a handyman or a qualified tradesperson, knowing the price will differ. We are also open to using reclaimed decking, as new timber may look out of place next to the old section. Please provide a quote and availability. We are aware of trade prices and labour costs so we won’t acknowledge any ridiculous prices

A timber architectural feature constructed on the side of the house needs the shade cloth covering replaced; NB replacement can be either shade cloth or polycarbonate sheets. If poly sheets then new guttering is required. Budget is flexible to suit option adopted, materials quality, and details of contractor’s proposed solution. (Budget figure quoted to be ignored).
