I’m restoring a vintage 1950s cast iron bathtub that will live permanently outdoor as a useable tub. I need a timber cradle/stand built to support and display it, rather than leg or a frame. I have sourced the timber - spotted gum, 3100 to work with. 250 x 250. See photos The tub: • Solid cast iron, curved/bellied oval underside (not flat) • Approx. 1540 x 755 (lip dimensions) • Heavy — estimate 60–100kg empty • Currently being rust-treated and will be painted What I need: • A sturdy timber cradle or plinth-style stand that the tub sits securely on, shaped or notched to match the curve of the tub’s underside (not just a flat platform, since the base is rounded) • Built from rot-resistant, outdoor-rated timber (treated pine, hardwood such as spotted gum/blackbutt) since this will be permanently outside and exposed to weather • Contact points padded (e.g. rubber/EPDM strip) between the timber and cast iron to protect the enamel finish and cushion the load • Min 300 clearance off the ground - Some airflow/drainage space underneath so we can add plumbing • Stable and level once installed — needs to safely support the tub’s weight plus water plus a person’s weight Style: Similar to the attached reference photos — a simple rustic double-beam or open box-frame cradle, natural or lightly stained timber finish. I’m also looking into sourcing the timber if that’s easier.

I’m looking for an experienced IKEA METOD kitchen installer/cabinetmaker who may be available on Monday, 14 September 2026. All cabinets are already assembled and positioned approximately where they belong, but they still need to be levelled, aligned and securely fixed to the walls/floor. Scope of work: Supply own anchors/bolts to besa block work wall & concrete flooring • Level and align all cabinetry to a height of 900mm, ready for a 20mm stone benchtop—finished height 920mm • Join and securely attach the L-shaped cabinetry to the walls • Adjust the cabinet on the right-hand side of the 900mm freestanding stove to achieve the correct spacing and alignment • Align, join and securely bolt the four island cabinets to the floor using the IKEA floor-anchoring frame or another method. • Ensure everything is square, level and ready for the benchtop template the following day Available for installation: • 4 × 2m METOD suspension rails • 1 × 2.1m METOD island floor-anchoring frame • All cabinets are fitted with adjustable 80mm METOD legs Timing is critical: • Floor preparation starts at 7:00am on 14 September and requires approximately four hours to dry • Bench top template the kitchen on 15 September • The benchtops, including island waterfall ends, are scheduled for installation on 18 September The cabinetry must therefore be completed from 12pm on the 14 September once the floor is ready. I have reinstalled but I can't get the doors straight / level etc. 1 corner lower door 5 lower doors 2 upper door I've tried but cant get them to look good. I can pay more if new hinges are required etc. I'm flexible, and not urgent

The existing skirting boards have already been removed, revealing an approximately 15–25 mm structural movement/expansion joint where the staircase meets the wall framing. I understand this may require both carpentry and plastering expertise. If you believe a plasterer will also be required, I’m happy to hear your recommendation. This is a new Bunnings Kaboodle kitchen cabinet corner door with Kaboodle hinges (165 degrees & 135 degrees) replacing an old water damaged door. It is fully assembled. I just need the door fixed to the cabinet & adjusted to fit. I have all the tools & equipment here. Cordless Jigsaw with Melamine blade (if it needs to be trimmed to fit), Drill & Impact driver, melamine tape etc.

I need a shelf removed from the Ikea Hauga cabinet. NOTE: It is not a removable / moveable shelf. This will need dismantling of the entire top part of the cabinet to remove it and then again assemble it without the shelf.
