Looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter to install timber-look panels as a kitchen splashback. The existing splashback has been removed, and the wall is ready for preparation and installation. Job includes: * Prepare and level the existing wall as required. * Measure and cut supplied timber-look panels to fit. * Install panels neatly across the full length of the kitchen splashback. * Make precise cut-outs for power points and around the cooktop area. * Ensure panels are securely fixed, with clean joins and a professional finish. Materials: Panels have already been purchased and are ready for installation. Photos attached showing the kitchen area and panels to be installed. Note that clear splashback for stove is separate to this job.

I’m restoring a vintage 1950s cast iron bathtub that will live permanently outdoor as a useable tub. I need a timber cradle/stand built to support and display it, rather than leg or a frame. I have sourced the timber - spotted gum, 3100 to work with. 250 x 250. See photos The tub: • Solid cast iron, curved/bellied oval underside (not flat) • Approx. 1540 x 755 (lip dimensions) • Heavy — estimate 60–100kg empty • Currently being rust-treated and will be painted What I need: • A sturdy timber cradle or plinth-style stand that the tub sits securely on, shaped or notched to match the curve of the tub’s underside (not just a flat platform, since the base is rounded) • Built from rot-resistant, outdoor-rated timber (treated pine, hardwood such as spotted gum/blackbutt) since this will be permanently outside and exposed to weather • Contact points padded (e.g. rubber/EPDM strip) between the timber and cast iron to protect the enamel finish and cushion the load • Min 300 clearance off the ground - Some airflow/drainage space underneath so we can add plumbing • Stable and level once installed — needs to safely support the tub’s weight plus water plus a person’s weight Style: Similar to the attached reference photos — a simple rustic double-beam or open box-frame cradle, natural or lightly stained timber finish. I’m also looking into sourcing the timber if that’s easier.

Our fridge is just a bit too wide (about 3 cm), and the cabinet side panel is blocking it from sliding in, so we’re hoping to trim or reshape that side to make it fit. We’re also looking to make space in one of the other cabinets for a dishwasher. Can you please provide quotes for these?

Laundry makeover 3 flat pack to be installed (already assembled) Bench top cut out and installed

I have two different jobs for consideration. Firstly, and the more pressing job, is the replacement of some broken and worn hardwood flooring panels. Shouldn't be any more than five or so (but have been known to be wrong in the past!) The flooring panels are 230cm by 9cm. Unsure of the depth of the panels, but I'd say it would be a standard size. We aren't too concerned about the type of hardwood to replace the panels, as we are having the floor laid over with hybrid flooring in the very near future. Just need to have the hardwood ready for this. Second job, and not so pressing, is to place some wood framing around the windows on the front of house. Would discuss wherever the framing surrounds the entire window, or just the sides from the window awnings. Concept photo included of the framing.
