Small laundry upgrade in townhouse - plumbing and tiles to stay mainly carpentry (new cupboards and bench top). Further information on laundry renovation. The following measurements are very basic and only approximate: The room size is 2.20 by 1.60m so small. The existing cupboards are approx 2.4m(H), w 65cm (new extend to 70cm) by 1.40 (L). I want to extend the length with a new bench-top to approx 2m to cover the washing machine. The problem with existing laundry is there is no broom closet. So on the left (see photo) I want to create a broom closet (with an electrical outlet). This new broom closet will mean losing existing bench space - hence why I want to extend the bench over the washing machine. In my kitchen I have some 'display boxes' I would like this recreated in the laundry (even if it only one - with a light). Please consider all of this before committing to the job and the price.
