Hello! Looking for someone experienced with car audio/interior trim to finish installing an Apple CarPlay/Android Auto retrofit kit into my 2017 Mazda 3 GT. Already completed: • MZD Connect software successfully updated to v70 • Upper dashboard trim removed • Factory screen/CMU removed and wiring disconnected • Battery negative disconnected • Car is currently left disassembled at this stage Parts: I have the complete retrofit kit including the new USB/SD hub, cabling and trim-removal tools. Work remaining: • Remove the original USB/SD/AUX hub located below the climate controls (preferably without damaging it) • Install the new CarPlay USB hub and cabling • Reconnect/test the CMU and CarPlay • Reassemble the dashboard/centre console Ideally looking for someone with experience installing Mazda MZD Connect / OEM-style CarPlay retrofit kits, or similar car audio/trim experience.

Install CarPlay head unit + reverse camera – 2013 Mazda 2 Looking for an experienced car audio installer / auto electrician to install a new aftermarket multimedia head unit and reverse camera in my 2013 Mazda 2. I’ve already purchased the Aerpro AX7510K 6.8” multimedia receiver kit to suit Mazda 2 2007–2014, including the vehicle-specific fascia and installation components, as well as the reverse camera. The job will involve: * Removing the existing factory head unit * Installing the new 6.8” multimedia/CarPlay head unit * Connecting and retaining steering-wheel controls * Installing and neatly routing the microphone/USB connections as required * Mounting the supplied reverse camera * Running the camera wiring from the rear of the car to the head unit * Connecting the reverse trigger so the camera automatically displays when reverse is selected * Testing everything and ensuring the trim/fascia is properly refitted The kit is designed specifically for this model Mazda, so there shouldn’t be any custom fabrication required. This needs to be completed onsite in my underground apartment garage in Surry Hills. Previous experience installing aftermarket head units and reverse cameras is mandatory.
