I have a 2010 MN triton with a 4d56 turbo diesel. Has done a little over 200,000km. It's developed a distinct tapping noise I believe is in the upper part of the engine. It started as a slight tapping when cold but has evolved to a quite loud noise now. It still runs but I would prefer to avoid driving it too far if possible. What I'm hoping for is maybe a 2 part scenario. Someone to come and diagnose it, including if necessary pulling off the rocker cover etc and then we source parts (presumably it will need seals and gaskets etc as well as whatever is busted) and then a second visit to fix it. If this is your sort of thing please let me know what I'm up for. I have a garage but if I need to bring it to you, let me know where you are located.

Hi there, I replaced two front lower control arms. Driver side didn't have any issue. I must have made a mistake in passenger side, and the ball joint was too far away from the knuckle. I removed the knuckle assembley and have connected everything back. I am having problem connecting knucke to suspension. The knuckle need to moved across and one bolt needs to be connected.

2008 Subaru Forester rego CJB76W. My aircon gas has leaked out. Believe it's the Orings on the compressor suction or discharge line. There's a fair bit of refrigerant oil residue after it let go. I have a OEM compressor to be installed as well. The old one was becoming noisy so I thought I'd get a new one. Need compressor replacement (part supplied), oring replacement, leak test, vacuum and regas. Need a new belt as the OEM ones are stretch fit.
