I just purchased this 2005 Honda Jazz in Sydney today and brought it to Newcastle. I am looking for a qualified, independent mechanic to diagnose and repair two specific issues. Please see the attached photos for reference. ​1. Front-Left Noise & Vibration (Priority) There is a loud noise and vibration coming from the front-left side. It happens at idle, while braking, and significantly when accelerating from a stop (worsens when turning right). Interestingly, I did not perceive this issue at all during the first 40 minutes of driving it today; it only became evident after that period. I am concerned that a short test drive (10-15 minutes) might not reveal the issue, so please keep this in mind. This is my main safety concern, and I need to identify the exact cause (e.g., CV joint, engine mount) and get it repaired. ​2. Door Issue The door does not close properly, and due to a dent on the lower part, water is leaking inside. I need to determine if this is just a common latch/lock mechanism failure or if there is hinge/frame misalignment causing the issue. ​Budget & Priorities The car has 7 months of rego left. My goal is to get these two issues resolved, but I am being mindful of my budget. Looking for an auto electrician to look at my starting system to try and get the vehicle running. This is a 2010 jeep wrangler jk. There is an issue with the starting system. It could be the Tipm or could be something simple. Just not starting.

Here are the details, essentially, I have a rolling e36 shell (no engine/gearbox), which has had the following works done: Custom LS1 engine mounts - Custom gearbox mount - Custom headers - Custom steering arm (clearanced to suit headers) - Custom sump for the LS1 - Oil filter relocation setup - Braided lines and fittings - Rear strut tower brace bar - New sunroof rubber seal - New Roof lining included - Various ancillary parts to complete the swap It would also come with some other miscellaneous parts necessary for the conversion, essentially the guy showed me an invoice for an e36 LS conversion kit he bought (which was roughly 10 grand I believe), which included all the necessary parts for the swap excluding an engine and gearbox, so as far as I'm aware everything needed has either been done as aforementioned or I would be able to provide. I'm not sure what else is needed for the conversion that hasn't already been done, so otherwise I would just need to source an LS1 and a T56 or T6060 gearbox to be fitted to the car. I just need to get it to a state where it can run and drive, and am capable of doing some miscellaneous things myself. What would be the cost of labour for fitting the engine/gearbox, and what's the process of legalising the car i.e. in regards to "engineering" it? As in I'm not fully aware of the processes that need to be undergone to make modded cars legal to drive in this country. Am happy for this to be completed anywhere in and around sydney or canberra.
