Current Status: • The timber framing and posts are fully built and ready for roofing sheets/battens/ flashings. • Site is located in Hampton Pergola Dimensions (L-Shape): • Main long edge: 9,910 mm • Side long edge: 7,400 mm • Depth/Widths: 2,550 mm & 2,500 mm (Please refer to the dimension sketch attached). Scope of Work: • Supply and install roof purlins/battens (if required). • Install roofing sheets + wall apron flashings + capping. • Supply and install guttering and downpipe setup. Roofing Preference: • We are currently deciding between Full Polycarbonate Sheets (e.g., Laserlite 3000) vs A Combination of Colorbond + Polycarbonate skylight strips. • We would welcome your professional advice on site regarding light, heat insulation, and aesthetics. Is lined with chipboard on walls and yellow tongue on floor. Will be able to rip chipboard off walls easily with hands. May need to circular saw between yellow tongue grooves as they are glued together - there is access to driveway/carport via side gate for removal. One bathroom: 2000 x 2500, standard height ceiling. Stripping back to studs. Shower screen has already been removed (will need to take with the rest of the rubbish). Demo and remove the following: floor tiles 600x600(concrete slab), wall tiles 600x600, cement board, wall mirror, shower fixtures, ceiling drywall, vanity and sinks, toilet. Must have own portable light - electrician will isolate and cap all bathroom electrics prior to demo, remove fixtures. If you can disconnect the toilet/vanity taps and cap the toilet sewer, great. If you can't, I will organise this prior to your original. Please specify this in your reply.

Hello, I'd like to get a basic gate installed between existing fences that have a spacing for a single car driveway. I do not have existing materials. The spacing is 2.8 metres. Maybe around 1.5 metres for the height, but I'm flexible and it definitely doesn't need to be as tall as the fence. Will need the fence for basic privacy and security purposes. It needs to be porous to wind as a previous gate failed under wind stress. The system should be able to accommodate a basic lock setup (e.g chain/latch and padlock) but I can set this up myself so it does not have to be included in this job. Open to second hand components if they do not compromise the durability of the construction and it reduces the overall cost. The existing adjacent fence posts may need reinforcement after the gate is added. A photo has been attached. It shows a former gate that is no longer there. I do not require the same design as this former gate.
