The job involves inspecting the arm and mounting bracket, repairing or replacing any damaged fittings, securely reattaching the arm, and testing that the gate opens and closes correctly. Looking for a quote to concrete my carport area so that two cars can be parked. The existing surface can be seen on the photo attached. There is a small section of crushed rock/ grid, exisiting concrete, and a small grass section, and I’m planning to remove exisitng surface (concrete + grid) under the carport and redo the area fresh. Total area is approximately 50 m². The job will include demo and removal, site preparation and compaction, and supply and installation of new plain concrete with steel mesh reinforcement. I’m after a durable finish suitable for vehicle use, with proper thickness. Site access is straightforward. Hi there, ​I need a specialist leak detection technician to locate an underground leak. ​Yarra Valley Water recently fixed a stop tap, but a leak has shown up near the tap since. My normal plumber came out to investigate and dug down as far as he could, but has now hit concrete and can't go any further. He suspects the pipe is leaking somewhere near the meter or underneath the driveway. ​I need someone with acoustic or electronic leak detection equipment to accurately pinpoint the exact location of the leak so my plumber knows precisely where to cut and dig. Looking for an experienced concreter to pour and finish an extension to my existing exposed aggregate driveway. The area will be fully prepped, meshed and boxed by 5th October, ready for concrete. Scope is: • Extend the driveway by approx. 1.9m wide at the road, tapering back up towards the garage. • Approx. 600mm wide strip on the opposite side, running for around 6m. • Pour and finish exposed aggregate concrete to match the existing driveway as closely as possible. I’m happy to organise the concrete myself or you can include it in your price. It will need to be Boral – Ocean Floor to match the existing driveway. Really looking for someone who is confident and experienced with exposed aggregate finishing, as getting the finish as close as possible to the existing driveway is important. Everything will be ready to go – just need someone to handle the pour and finish.

We’ve got electric swinging driveway gates (Centsys brand). They’ve stopped working. Had a sparky out and he said it’s likely the gate motor as there’s no issues with power to it. Happy to fix or replace and not fussed on branding, as long as it works.

We need a small reinforced concrete slab constructed beside our driveway, against the house/boundary fence. The finished slab needs to be approximately 1100mm × 450mm × 100mm thick and completely level/flat, as it will be used as a base for gas bottles. Work required: * Saw-cut and remove a small section of the existing concrete driveway to create sufficient space for the slab. * Existing driveway is approximately 100mm thick. * Approximate saw cuts required: * 1100mm long * 120mm long * Remove and dispose of all cut concrete/rubble. * Excavate/prepare the area as required and provide a suitable compacted base. * Form up the slab. The house/boundary side can form two edges of the area, with formwork required to the remaining exposed edges as appropriate. * Install steel mesh reinforcement, adequately supported within the slab. * Pour a 1100mm × 450mm × 100mm reinforced concrete slab. * Slab must be perfectly level, despite the adjoining driveway being on a fairly steep gradient. * The new slab must not follow the slope of the driveway or simply be poured onto/joined to the sloping driveway. * Neat finished edges and surface. * Remove all waste and leave the area tidy. Access is straightforward from the driveway. I’ve attached photos showing the location and the section of driveway that needs to be cut. Please quote including labour, concrete, reinforcing mesh, formwork/base materials, concrete saw cutting and removal/disposal of the old concrete. Please also let me know if you have experience with small reinforced concrete slabs and whether you have your own concrete saw/equipment.
