Looking for a specialist with experience in Sika (or similar) structural mortars for a driveway crossover repair on Chevron Island approx. 150cm x 430cm on a steep approx. 11° (1:5) gradient. Prep Work: I will have already excavated debris and treated the metal with a rust converter. Materials Provided: I am providing 10 bags (200kg total) of Sika MonoTop-352 NFG (or similar). Task Details: 1. SSD Prep: Pre-wet the substrate to Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) condition. 2. Step 2 (The Bond): Mix a small "slurry" batch of Sika. Vigorously scrub this into all alligator cracks and the main patch face to act as a primer. 3. Step 3 (The Pour): Immediately mix and apply the main batch "wet-on-wet" over the slurry. The mix must be stiff enough to hold on an 11° slope without sagging over Main Patch (approx. 100cm x 60cm x 10cm deep). Plus fill extensive alligator cracking in surrounding sections. 4. Finish: Apply a heavy non-slip broom uniform finish once the mortar begins to pull. Helper Must Provide: • Heavy-Duty Mixing Drill & Paddle (Essential for 20kg structural bags). • Stiff-bristled brush (For scrubbing the crack treatment). • Buckets, Finishing Trowels, and a Stiff Broom. Timing: I am flexible with the start date and happy to work around your existing schedule for the right specialist.
