Wanting a architect or engineer to draw up a decking and verandah project to be able to obtain permit.

I need a building surveyor to provide a building permit for a small deck (porch) and front verandah. We have architectural drawings and are in the process of obtaining structural engineering and fire engineering documentation.

We are looking for an experienced carpenter or handyman to repair and restore the front verandah at a property we manage in Ascot Vale. The verandah has significant issues that need addressing, including a top rail that has completely detached from one of the posts and several areas showing serious wood rot and water damage. As shown in the attached photos, the timber in some sections is badly deteriorated. The job will involve a full assessment of the damage, recommending and carrying out necessary repairs or timber replacements, securely reattaching or replacing the detached rail, and treating all affected areas to prevent future water damage. We will also need the repaired sections prepped and painted to match the existing finish for a neat and cohesive look. Preferably prior experience with verandah or timber restoration. Timing is flexible, but ideally we would like the work completed within the next one to two weeks. Please provide a rough quote & let us know if you would like to inspect the site. Budget to be determined based on your assessment i.e. fix versus replacement.

I need to cover an exposed verandah, small area (townhouse courtyard). The tarp currently pools water so I need someone with experience who can cover the area so this doesn't happen, or advise a better solution.

1. Repair (e.g. fix nail pops) of verandah deck, which is roughly 8sqm. 2. Preparation and cleaning inc. pressure wash and clean/scrub (product supplied) and tape off to protect any areas. 3. Replace or repair timber verandah post

65.2 square metres of wooden deck in three sections. Clean and prepare surfaces for oiling. 2 coats of oil required. Nb Trades person needs to have cover sheets to protect freshly oiled deck in case of rain.

Need brickwall repointed for verandah

Old concrete verandah 5mx1.6m & top front step in need of repair & painting - verandah has a number of cracks & on one of the front steps a chunk of concrete has broken off & needs replacing - please see photos. We are wanting to patch up & paint not replace the whole verandah & we are not sure regarding costs etc
