Simple 20 m² tile-on-tile job – experienced tiler. Budget approx. $1,500 total. Easy access, single-level home. Scope: - Floor: 5 m² of 60×60 porcelain - Walls: 15 m² of mostly rectified 30×60 gloss white ceramic + small section of 7.5×30 white subway ceramic in classic brick-bond pattern - Shower recess: removal of approximately 15-20 mm of height, then minor screed to bring the shower floor level with the main bathroom floor + limited membrane paint (see photos) Required finish: - Rectified 30×60 gloss white tiles to be installed with levelling clips and narrow joints (1.5–2 mm), finished flush so the surface reads as a continuous flat glass-like plane, white grout - Subway tiles in classic brick-bond using Mapei yellow grout - Floor tile lines to run continuous with wall tile lines Tiler to supply sufficient amounts of: - C2 polymer-modified adhesive - Grout (as specified above) - Edging - Sand/screed for shower recess - Waterproofing membrane paint for shower floor/recess - 2 × modern square waste/drains for shower/bathroom areas We will supply the primer (see photo).
