I have a small chip in a white bathroom vanity basin/surface that I attempted to repair using a porcelain repair kit. Unfortunately too much filler was applied and the repair area is now more noticeable than the original chip. The 2 shelves have 5 screw holes and come with screws and plugs. The splashback is a thin sheet of metal with a thick plaster board recessed 2mm behind the splash back and then another fibreboard recessed 2 mm behind the plasterboard. One of the shelves needs to cover over the opening of an electrical switch that if possible be relocated 5-10 cm below it’s current position. Not sure how to secure the fixings in to the splash back - may need liquid nails as well to secure shelf?
