I’m looking for someone experienced in furniture restoration or surface repair to help remove a stain from a white high-gloss MDF desk in Coniston (Wollongong area). I’ve already tried: • Soap and water • Baking soda + vinegar • Alcohol-based hand sanitiser The stain hasn’t lifted and may have lightly absorbed into the clear gloss finish. The rest of the desk is in great condition — I’d prefer a spot treatment or gentle buff, not a full respray. Ideal if you have experience with: • Furniture surface repair • MDF panel restoration • Glossy finish touch-ups (without damaging the surface) The desk is movable, but I’d prefer someone who can do the repair on-site if possible. I need someone to help restore a wooden/laminate benchtop that has chemical damage and surface scratches (see attached photo). Most of the doors have had some prep work started, some stripped, some partially sanded, so we’re now after someone who can help finish the job properly and prep them for a walnut stain to match our new floors. Details: • Door 1 (Front Door): Not yet started – both sides need full stripping and sanding. • Door 2 (Back Door): Not yet started – needs full stripping and sanding on both sides. There is a stain on my wool carpet (a few days old). This is a fairly new carpet. I tried cleaning with dishwashing liquid, baking soda and shaving cream ( all done separately), but it doesent seem to work. For some reason the stain looks worse now. On a small area only. Let me know if you can fix this. Thanks.
