I bought a pullout rangehood and it doesn’t fit into my existing joinery. It’s off by mils as the lip on the laminate either side seems to be too thick or the cabinets have expanded over time. I need the cabinets either side trimmed up to make it fit and then for the rangehood to be installed. Rangehood specs: Height (mm) 175 mm Width (mm) 898 mm Depth (mm) 300 mm Model Number WRR904SB. Width of joinery is approx 894 mm.

Edit 23/11/25: Attached photos showing dimensions of current Inalto unit and the Whirlpool rangehood. Note that the new unit will have a bigger box so may need to cut through ceiling/cornice. The size of the duct is the same 150mm diameter. It's not a brick wall so must be familiar with drywall installations.
