What does a projector installation service include?
Our projector installation service covers pretty much everything you’d expect in a handyman or installation service: equipment, set-up, and testing. Though the details may vary from Tasker to Tasker, you can pretty much expect the standard inclusions, such as:
Home theatre projector placement
First, your Tasker needs to pick a spot for your projector. This depends on the size of the projection and your room or home cinema. If your projector can be mounted to the ceiling, your Tasker may suggest it so that it doesn’t block the seats.
The goal is to provide the best possible experience for you, your family, and your guests. If you’re using a fixed installation projector, do make sure that you’re happy with its placement in your home theatre.
Screen set-up
If you decide to put up a screen instead of just projecting onto a wall, your Tasker will take care of this as well. Screens are recommended for a better viewing experience since they produce a better image than a blank wall.
AV projector installation
Whether you plan to set up the projector on a table or up on the ceiling, the picture must show up properly on the wall or screen. Your Tasker may test this a couple of times, after which they’ll confirm that you’re happy with the positioning. Then, they’ll fix the projector onto its mount or bracket (for ceiling-mounted ones) or simply mark the spot on the table and floor.
Once the projector is installed, your Tasker connects it to the source - your cable box, gaming console, DVD player, and so on. If necessary, they’ll conceal the wires that are running along the floor, walls, or ceiling.
Testing the projector
Once the projector is installed, the Tasker projects an alignment image. This is to make sure that the projector and screen locations are aligned, and that there’s no need for further adjustments.
Afterwards, your specialist may do a simple run-through of your projector’s features, just to make sure it works correctly. This step includes checking on wireless transmission, correcting the image shape and saturation, etc.

Need someone experienced to install a manual pull down projection screen (100 inch). The screen is the Elite Screens M100XWH and must be securely mounted to a wall using appropriate fixings. The wall is a standard internal plasterboard wall, so the installation must be fixed into timber studs or use heavy duty rated anchors suitable for plasterboard to safely support the screen. What needs to be done 1. Assess wall space and confirm wall type and stud location. 2. Mark the correct position for the screen. 3. Install suitable brackets and fixings for the Elite Screens M100XWH (screen provided), ensuring secure load rated mounting. 4. Ensure the screen is level, secure, and properly aligned. 5. Test the screen’s pull down and retract function. All required tools and installation materials must be BYO, including drill, screws, anchors suitable for plasterboard and timber studs, spirit level, stud finder, and measuring tools. Must have prior experience installing projector screens or similar wall mounted fixtures. Must be fully insured. Must be able to confirm appropriate fixings based on wall type and load requirements.
