Our pool filter broke and we need to have a clear grasp on what’s fixable and what’s not. The job of diagnosing the damage and providing a quote to fix/replace is it at this stage. I will then consult with the owner and if the quote is approved that’s another job. So it’s one visit and a detailed description of what’s involved in the failure and the fix in follow up doc and quite to me. I’d say it’s 2 hrs work at most. I’ll pay $60 for just this task on Monday. Inspection and detailed summary with fixed $.

As title, a concrete debris half blocked the swimming pool pipe, between skimmer and pump. Water flow level is now only 30% of previous. Need help to clear it.

Pool has been newly renovated and now moving onto Phases 2 and 3 Phase 2: The pool now needs a new pump and filter to be supplied (if possible) and installed. Area housing the existing equipment needs to be remodelled to improve aesthetics including the area next to it (refer photos) and the stairs. Phase 3: Some paving surrounding the pool needs to be repaired/replaced. The existing metal fencing and gate above the pump and filter area needs to be updated (not glass) to not only ensure council compliance but to also improve asthetics given its outlook from the house.

We tried to replace the part on the pool filter however as the filter is quite old, the replacement part isn't sitting flush in its housing. Also seems like the pool pump is leaking we think it may require a replacement. Pool pump humming but not starting – likely capacitor Pool pump: Waterco Supatuf 1.0HP MK2 Pump powers on but only hums, does not spin and no water flow. Pump lid is seized and cannot be opened by hand. Suspect failed start capacitor or seized impeller (possibly after running dry). Looking for a technician who can: – Safely open the pump lid – Check if impeller spins freely – Test and replace start capacitor if required – Re-prime system Please advise availability, experience with pool pumps, and call-out cost.
