We tried to replace the part on the pool filter however as the filter is quite old, the replacement part isn't sitting flush in its housing. Also seems like the pool pump is leaking we think it may require a replacement. Pool pump humming but not starting – likely capacitor Pool pump: Waterco Supatuf 1.0HP MK2 Pump powers on but only hums, does not spin and no water flow. Pump lid is seized and cannot be opened by hand. Suspect failed start capacitor or seized impeller (possibly after running dry). Looking for a technician who can: – Safely open the pump lid – Check if impeller spins freely – Test and replace start capacitor if required – Re-prime system Please advise availability, experience with pool pumps, and call-out cost.
