I need help removing the screws from the toilet seat fixings and installing a new toilet seat. I’ve already started the job. The screw on the right side came out without any issues, but the screw on the left side is spinning together with the plastic fixing, so it won’t loosen or come out. Both plastic fixing (spigots) must be removed before installing the new toilet seat.

Fix toilet leak , water leak

The toilet is leaking from the base, and it looks like the seal has worn away. I’ve also noticed the toilet has shifted slightly away from the wall. From what I can see, the silicone around the bottom isn’t the main issue — it seems the internal seal where the toilet connects to the waste pipe may have failed, likely because the toilet has moved.
